HOSTELS
There are 6 hostels in Dhulikhel. Each has its own
term of teacher-wardens supportd by ayas. Hostellers
are driven up to school each morning (about 10 minutes)
to have breakfast. They come back after school to
have supper and do homework in the hostle.
Junior Hostels:
Two houses on spacious open ground down the path from
the Arniko Highway past the Mirabel Resort. They contain
:
- Small dormitories for 4 to 8 children, with their
excellent modern tiled bathrooms. Children sleep
in bunk beds.
- A kitchen and dining room where children have
supper each evening at 7:00 pm.
- Study areas for them to do homework
- Large areas of grass outside for playing and doing
takewondo.
- A audio-visual room.
The hostels are directed by Miss Shova
Rana with a team of 5 teachers from the school plus
ayas and assistants.
Junior students, class I-V, come by school bus from
Kathmandu on Monday morning and are driven back on Friday
after school. They spend Saturday and Sunday at their
home.

Senior Hostels:
Four houses down a quiet path from the highway,
at Bansghari. Each has its own teacher-wardens and a
team of ayas. The hostels are directed by Mr.Puspa
Raj Poudyel. They contain:
- Small dormitories of 4 to 8 students
- A Kitchen plus dining hall where children have
supper.
- Study areas for them to do homework.
- Space outside for informal play.
Senior students go home on the school
bus to Kathmandu on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday
Morning.
