EXAM POLICY

EXAM POLICY
We abolish exams in the first two terms but retain them for the main end-of-terms in Chaitra. We assess individual performance by a series of class tests at frequent intervals. We send students progress reports every month that cover their academic as well as behavioural aspects.

AIMS
1. To motivate to work hard throughout the year, not just at exam time.
2. To test their knowledge, understanding and skills throughout the course and quickly remedy weakness.
3. To assess their performance in activities that cannot easily be tested in a formal exam, e.g. spoken English, investigate science.......

FINAL EVALUATION
For promotion: 50% marks from Monthly Progress Report and the other 50% from the end-of-term exams are added together. A student must obtain at least 50% mark in each subject for promotion to the next class.
