Admissions 2008/2009

Vacancies:


In the next session we expect to have the following vacancies:
Class I- 30 places (age 6+)
Class VI- 30 places (age 11+)
There may be one or two vacancies in chasses VII, VIII and IX see separate section for admission to class XI.

Admission forms:
These can be obtained from the school office as from our Kathmandu office: Lekali Trading, Maitighar Chowk (past Third Eye Travel and opposite St Xaviers College.)

Admission tests:
Exam test in English, Nepali and Maths, Also a ‘surprise lesson’ when students are taught a new topic and then tested on their ability to learn from it.
Our Admission Committee’s decision is final. Efforts to influence us can lead to disqualification from entry.

Fees
Primary(I-V)
Admission charge Rs.8000 on first entry only.
Infrastructure Development Fund Rs.5000 on first entry only.
Tuition fees Rs.2000pm. sports, use of computers etc. etc.
Transport Rs.530.
Food Rs.968 pm for full cooked lunch and snacks.

Secondary (VI-X)
Admission fee Rs.8000on first entry only.
Tuition as for primary above.
Transport as for primary above.

Higher Secondary(XI-XII) to be announced.
Caution money Rs.5000 (refundable)
Contribution to Scholarship Fund Rs.3500 (non-refundable).

Hostels
Admissions Rs.4000 on first admissions only.
Junior fees Rs.2420 (juniors) or Rs.2750 (seniors). This includes cooked supper, breakfast, accommodation, etc.


Transport

Our local school bus stop at Banepa (King’s statue) and Dhulikhel (King’s status and Sindhuli Highway junction).

Our Kathmandu school bus for hostellers has a fixed route that we will tell you.

Please make sure you can get to our bus stops as we cannot alter our routes.
